JOHOR BARU: A 25-year-old man was injured after his car collided with an ambulance at an intersection here on Friday (April 16). Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Padzli Mohd Zain said the incident took place at about 1pm at KM5 of Jalan Bahru - Kota Tinggi. “The ambulance driver was believed to have failed to stop the vehicle at a traffic light. “The private ambulance, which was carrying a patient, was coming from Kota Tinggi while the car was from the Jalan Dato Sulaiman direction, ” he said in a statement on Friday. He added the car driver suffered injuries following the accident and is currently undergoing treatment at the emergency unit of Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA).
