The Report of a 2013 Committee of Enquiry set up by the then-Energy Minister, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has finally been uncovered.
The Committee was set up to investigate claims of fraud, extortion and corruption at the Accra plains and Kumasi Depots of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST).
This came after the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum succumbed to complaints from Bulk Oil Distributing Companies (BDCs0, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), Petroleum Product Transporters (PPT), Tanker Drivers and the Civil society concerning alleged corruption at the said depots.
The Committee which was chaired by Madam Clotilde Agbenoto after interacting with stakeholders confirmed that the allegations were true.
