KVRR Local News Local law enforcement step up distracted driving enforcement This month is Distracted Driving Month to help lower the number of cases where people are not focused on the roads April 5, 2021 It’s all an effort to bring awareness to Distracted Driving Month. “Officers from the Fargo Police Department will be on the streets with our grant-funded overtime to enforce the distracted driving laws,” Fargo Police Department Sgt. Mike Bernier said. This month is Distracted Driving Month to help lower the number of cases where people are not focused on the roads. “Distracted driving is just that. It’s simply taking your mind off the road, taking your eyes off the road, and your hands off the steering wheel,” Bernier said.
