Customs officials have reportedly seized gold weighing more than 1.5 kg and valued at Rs 74.87 lakh from a women passenger at the international airport of Hyderabad on Wednesday. The Customs officials of Hyderabad have stated that gold weighing more than 1.5 kg was seized from a woman passenger at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday. Customs officials have said that the gold weighing over 1 kg had a value of an estimated Rs 74.87 lakh.
The smuggled gold was reportedly concealed in the form of a paste when the 1,593 grams quantity of the valuable item was confiscated by the customs officials. Over 1.5 kg quantity of gold was seized from the woman passenger by the officials at the international airport of Hyderabad on Wednesday.
