The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is on the lookout for the four key members of Dawood Ibrahim aide Chinku Pathan’s drug cartel. The cartel, said to be responsible for 70 per cent of the illicit drugs sold in Mumbai and Maharashtra, was busted by the NCB on Wednesday when it arrested Chinku Pathan.

The case is regarding a drug-laden vessel “Shenaya Duwa’ that was intercepted by Indian Coast Guard in late November last year
99 packets of heroin, 20 boxes of synthetic drugs and five 9mm pistols were unearthed from an unapproachable location
The drugs were transferred onto the Sri Lankan vessel ‘Shenaya Duwa’ by a Pakistani dhow and the contraband was meant to be sent to western countries and Australia.

New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested two Sri Lankan nationals for their alleged role in drug trafficking syndicate based out of Pakistan and Sri Lanka and has seized 100 kg heroin worth Rs 1,000 crore in the international market â the highest ever.
The two men â M.M.M. Nawas and Mohamed Afnas, who were arrested from Chennai Thursday â allegedly played a key role in the drug syndicate that also has âtentacles in Afghanistan, Iran, Maldives and Australiaâ, K.P.S. Malhotra, Deputy Director (Operations), NCB, told ThePrint.

He was admitted to the south Delhi hospital on November 27 and died after suffering from brain complications, they said.

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau on Friday arrested one more member of the Chinku Pathan gang from Dongri area of Mumbai and recovered MD drug. The probe agency has also recovered a diary of Pathan that contains names of 20 drug peddlers.
