Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 14 (ANI): Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik s son-in-law, Sameer Khan, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday in connection with a drug case, has been sent to NCB custody till January 18.
Earlier today, Sameer was sent for a medical check-up after which he was produced before a court.
Atul Sarpande, Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) of NCB said that other accused in the drug case namely Rahila Furniturewala and Karan Sajnani were also sent to NCB custody till January 16.
The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Sameer Khan on Wednesday in a drugs case.

Son-in-law of Maharashtra cabinet minister Nawab Malik, Sameer Khan, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drugs case involving British national Karan Sajnani, is suspected to have financed the supply of imported drugs, agency sources have said.
Khan was arrested on Wednesday after being questioned at the NCB s Mumbai office for many hours. He was summoned after Sajnani named him during interrogation.
Sources added that there is a lot of digital evidence that links Khan with Sajnani, who was arrested last week after recovery of over 200 kg of marijuana, including some imported strains like OG Kush.

Mumbai, Jan 13 : In a major embarrassment for the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is questioning Samir Khan, the son-in-law of Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik in a drugs case, sources said on Wednesday.
According to NCB sources, Khan was asked to appear before the agency in a drugs related case after a few transactions between him and a drug peddler were noticed.
The source said he appeared before the drug law enforcement agency on Wednesday morning and his statement was being recorded.

Khan appeared before the agency in the case after a few transactions between him and a drug peddler came to light and his statement was being recorded till this evening.
The NCB believes that the payments to a peddler were reportedly intended for drugs purchase and Khan was summoned to verify the details in the case pertaining to the seizure of a 200 kg drugs consignment last week in Mumbai.

Mumbai: Maharashtra cabinet minister Nawab Malik s son-in-law Sameer Khan was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with a drugs case on Wednesday, an official said.
Khan was seen entering the NCB s office at Ballard Estate in South Mumbai around 10 am.
He was summoned by the agency after it found an alleged online transaction of Rs 20,000 between him and one of the accused in a drugs case, in which British national Karan Sajnani and two others were arrested with 200 kg of drugs last week, sources said.
