(WTVM) - The Troup County Sheriff’s Office arrested two LaGrange men and one woman on multiple drug charges. On April 15, deputies responded to Eleanor St. in LaGrange in reference to checking the home for a person that possibly had a warrant for their arrest. While searching for the suspect, deputies found methamphetamine and Xanax bars in bags in plain view and some that had been poured on the ground in an attempt to destroy the items in plain view.

Statesville Man Charged With Cocaine, Marijuana Offenses James Faron Morrison Statesville Man Charged With Cocaine, Marijuana Offenses February 2, 2021 54-year-old James Faron Morrison of East Greenbriar Road in Statesville was arrested Friday (January 29) by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with three felony counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule II controlled substance, two felony counts of maintaining a vehicle for the sale or use of a controlled substance and single felony counts of trafficking schedule II controlled substance (cocaine and crack cocaine) and possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana. On Friday, officers executed a search warrant and served arrest warrants on Corry Drive. The target of the investigation was James Faron Morrison. This investigation started with Narcotics Investigators receiving information about Morrison distributing narcotics from his vehicle on a dirt portion of Corry Drive off of Twin Oaks

Wednesday, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office announced three major drug busts that happened within the county two involving Mooresville residents, and one involving two people from Pittsburgh that were stopped for a traffic violation on Interstate 77.  The first arrest happened on Thursday, Dec. 10.  Deputies with the ICSO s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team and members of NC Probation and Parole responded to a home on Old Wilkesboro Road for reports that 44-year-old Jeremy Thanavastien, on parole for felony possession with intent to sell or deliver heroin, was there selling Heroin.
