HARDIN COUNTY Ill. (KFVS) - A burglary suspect was shot by police on Sunday, February 21.
The suspect was wanted for stealing an unmarked deputy patrol car and fleeing from the scene of a crime.
According to the Illinois State Police (ISP), on Saturday night, a Pope County Deputy responded to a possible burglary in on the 900 block of Route 43 in Herod.
The male suspect then allegedly stole the deputy’s unmarked squad car and took off from the scene.
