Outside of training, they “try not to talk about it too much,” Dubrovich said.
Kaneshige said finding balance has been a key objective for Dubrovich. She wants to live the life of an Olympic athlete and develop in her career as a marketing account strategist.
“A lot of fencers see it as a one-or-the-other decision,” Kaneshige said. “There’s a lot of pressure, especially when you see your peers going on to do impressive things in their own careers. I give her a lot of credit for taking a chance on herself.”

POMPTON LAKES, NJ A Doylestown man who worked as a technology education teacher at a high school in northern New Jersey was found dead of an apparent suicide Friday, the Passaic County Prosecutor s Office said.
The body of Patrick Moccia, 47, was found at Pompton Lakes High School at around 9 p.m., according to police. His death is believed to be the result of an apparent suicide, authorities said.
Moccia is listed as a technology education teacher on the school s website. He is survived by his wife, two children and two stepchildren, NorthJersey.com reported.

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Pompton Lakes Police Chief Derek Clark announce that on Friday, January 29, 2021, at approximately 9:04 p.m., police officers responded to Pompton Lakes High School to conduct a welfare check regarding a school employee. Upon their arrival, the officers searched the building and discovered the body of Patrick Moccia, 47 years old from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Mr. Moccia was a teacher at the school, and his death is believed to be the result of an apparent suicide. An autopsy will be conducted by the New Jersey Medical Examiner’s Office at a later date. This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes available.
