The 29-year-old was found to have 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates Court, she pleaded guilty to drink driving. Haslett, of Male Close, Lee-on-the-Solent, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. She was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.

The 26-year-old who was uninsured at the time had also failed to stop for a police constable during the incident on September 4 last year. He was found to have 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He previously pleaded guilty to the three driving offences. Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday, Rowe of Tichborne Way, Gosport was fined £400. Rowe must also pay £85 in court costs and a £43 victim surcharge.
