French President Macron Diagnosed With Covid-19

French President Emmanuel Macron, 42, has tested positive for Coronavirus and gone into isolation for at least a week.
According to handlers, Macron first showed symptoms of the virus earlier this week, said an Élysée Palace statement released on Thursday.
“The President of the Republic has been diagnosed positive for Covid-19 today. This diagnosis was made following a test performed at the onset of the first symptoms,” reads in part the statement.
“In accordance with current health regulations applicable to all, the President will isolate himself for seven days. He will continue to work and carry out his activities remotely.
