The Port Byron Central School District is going remote through the holiday break.
They say students will be welcomed back on January 4th – when the District hopes to ‘reset’.
“Due to ongoing staffing issues with quarantines and the increasing spread of COVID-19 in the community, Port Byron Schools will be utilizing remote instruction until January 4th,” the district said in a Facebook Post. “During this time we will continue to transport students to vocational, BOCES and private schools that remain open.”
The Auburn Enlarged City School District recently shut down all aspects of its operation due to staffing issues connected to quarantines and COVID-19.
