In its first mission in 2021, India s space agency ISRO plans to launch on February 28 Brazilian satellite Amazonia-1 and three Indian payloads, including one built by a home-grown start-up.
The satellites are slated to be launched onboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C-51 at 10:24 am from the Sriharikota spaceport, over 100 kms from Chennai.

In its first space mission in 2021, India s space agency ISRO planned to launch Brazilian satellite Amazonia-1 and 20 other payloads, including one built by a home-grown start-up, on February 28.
The launch from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, is tentatively scheduled at 10.23 am, subject to weather conditions, Bengaluru-headquartered Indian Space Research Organisation said on Friday.
PSLV-C51/Amazonia-1 is the first dedicated commercial mission of NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), a Government of India company under Department of Space. NSIL is undertaking this mission under a commercial arrangement with Spaceflight Inc.USA.
Amazonia-1 is the optical earth observation satellite of National Institute for Space Research (INPE).

SatSure and Bellatrix Aerospace plan to have the first satellite of the proposed constellation launched by December 2022, both firms said on Wednesday.
The satellites will be powered by hybrid-propulsion systems of Bellatrix Aerospace, a startup incubated at the Indian Institute of Science.
SatSure is planning to launch a fleet of remote sensing micro satellites from 2022 to meet the growing need of high-resolution satellite imagery across aviation, banking, insurance and transportation sectors. The satellites will be powered by hybrid-propulsion systems of Bellatrix Aerospace, a startup incubated at the Indian Institute of Science.
