Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen so far across parts of the advisory area so far. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Northeastern Tuscaloosa, Northport, Holt, Brookwood, Coaling, Vance, Berry, Bankhead Lock And Dam, Samantha, Binion Creek Landing, Deerlick Creek Campgrounds, Lake Wildwood, Boley Springs, Mercedes Benz Of Alabama, Windham Springs, Lake Nicol, Lake Nicol Park, Highway 69 Bridge, Lake Tuscaloosa and Sexton Bend.

.A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT FOR NORTH
CENTRAL TUSCALOOSA AND SOUTHEASTERN FAYETTE COUNTIES.
At 1121 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles northwest of Samantha, or 14 miles southeast of
Fayette, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD.Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE.Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT.Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
Locations impacted include.
Berry, Boley Springs, Whitson and New Lexington.
