Polio National Immunisation Day rescheduled for January 31

Polio Ravivar” will take place on the 31 th of January 2021. This rescheduling is because of the launch of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign on January 16 by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Indian President will launch the Polio National Immunisation Day on 30 th January 2021 by administering Polio drops to some children at the Rashtrapati Bhawan at 11.45 am. Ministry of Health & Family Welfare of India is committed to ensuring that COVID management and vaccination services as well as non-COVID essential health services proceed in tandem without adversely impacting each other.
