The discussions will be used to gather feedback on projects for each ward along with the city overall.
Julia Frevert, a spokeswoman for the city, said Mayor Jim Langfelder planned to attend all of the ward meetings with the directors of the city departments, including Police Chief Kenny Winslow and Fire Chief Brandon Blough.
Residents are invited to attend any of the forums, Frevert said.
The meeting for Wards 9 and 10, represented by Alds. Jim Donelan and Ralph Hanauer respectively, will be held at the Knights of Columbus, 2200 Meadowbrook Rd., from 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 2.

Despite objections from Springfield Mayor Jim Langfelder and Police Chief Kenny Winslow, Alderman Shawn Gregory says he still wants to pursue some kind of subpoena power for a civilian police oversight commission.
But Gregory says he is working with Winslow on language to address the department’s concerns over the proposal. Gregory says he understands why police would resist subpoena power for a citizens commission that may not have direct background or experience in police training, but says he also sees a need for independent oversight.
Gregory is also pushing to implement new technology that will review police body cam footage for indications of improper behavior and generate reports for the City Council.
Derek Chauvin verdict a step in the right direction, say Springfield-area activists herald-review.com - get the latest breaking news, showbiz & celebrity photos, sport news & rumours, viral videos and top stories from herald-review.com Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday newspapers.
State and local officials are reacting to the verdict that found former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin guilty on all counts in the death of George Floyd.
Governor JB Pritzker calls it a “milestone on the journey to justice,” but says there is still more to do. Springfield Police Chief Kenny Winslow says he thinks the verdict was “just,” and says both police and the community should work harder at seeing each other as people and treating each other with respect.
Sunshine Clemons of Springfield’s Black Lives Matter chapter says she’s happy that Chauvin is being held accountable, but says there won’t be true justice without more extensive policing reform.
