Published December 18, 2020, 4:20 PM BAUANG, LA Union – An online seller is now facing homicide charges after she allegedly killed her live-in partner by bludgeoning him with a dumbbell plate while he was sleeping in Barangay Padalagan Sur Friday, December 18. Bauang Police Investigator Cpl. Bob Dominic Monang identified the suspect as Cristina Blanguera, 31, while her victim Randy Balatero, 35, both residents in Barangay Pagdagan Sur, Bauang, La Union. According to Monang, Blanquera admitted killing her partner, who she alleged to have abused and molested her every time they would quarrel. The suspect said she bashed Balatero on the head with the dumbbell metal plate while he was sleeping in their room.
