The owner of the company involved in a fatal construction accident this week in downtown Boston failed to disclose to the city that his company had numerous workplace safety violations, which could have disqualified it from construction work, records show.
Teen charged with murder in January shooting of young woman in Dorchester

Tasjahnaya Dance was fatally shot in Dorchester on Jan. 22.
A 17-year-old male has been charged with murder for the shooting death of a 19-year-old woman at a busy Dorchester intersection last month, officials said.
Albert Brown was charged in the death of Tasjahnaya Dance, an aspiring musician who was fatally shot at Washington and Bowdoin streets in the Four Corners area at lunchtime on Jan. 22, the office of Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins said in a statement.

An investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct and excessive alcohol use at a seminary run by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston did find some “inappropriate” sexual conduct but no evidence of criminal behavior or sexual activity between seminarians and faculty members, the archdiocese announced Friday. A hearing has been scheduled for next month in the indecent assault and battery case against celebrity chef Mario Batali. Batali did not appear at a brief pre-trial hearing in a Boston courtroom on Friday. He had waived his right to appear.
While celebrating Kellar s 21st birthday and the birthday of Rodgers wife, the ADA told the court that Kellar and his sister became involved in a verbal altercation.
Kellar left the hotel room with his belongings but later returned to retrieve additional items shortly before 11:30 p.m., prosecutors said in court, at which point the altercation continued and Kellar began pushing his sister.
At that point, Rodgers is accused of stabbing the unarmed Kellar in the back with a knife.
Kellar was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Prosecutors said Rodgers remained at the hotel until Boston police officers arrived.
