INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) A digital healthcare company has released its list of the healthiest states in the U.S. and Indiana finds itself in an unfortunate position. Atlanta-based Sharecare says the Hoosier State ranks 41st on the list. The study was conducted in partnership with the Boston University School of Public Health.
Sharecare says the 2020 research assessed the well-being of more than 450,000 respondents across all 50 states.
It assessed a range of individual health risk factors: physical health, food access, healthcare access, housing, among others.
Massachusetts is the top-ranked state, but Mississippi comes in at No. 50.
