Arrest after Spalding police pursuit

A man has been charged with a string of offences following a pursuit in Spalding.
Tracy Hercules (22), of no fixed address, has been charged with dangerous driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis and possession of an imitation firearm.
The charges came after a police officer pursued a silver Mercedes Benz on blue lights at around noon on Tuesday after the driver appeared to act suspiciously on seeing his car.
The Mercedes is recovered after the stinger operation (45040889)
It appeared that the driver of the vehicle was trying to evade the police car by speeding off.
Spalding man due in court following alleged verbal abuse

A Spalding man has been summonsed to appear in court in relation to an alleged incident of racial verbal abuse.
Following an investigation, John Ronson, aged 55, of Parkside Crescent in the town has been summonsed to appear at Boston Magistratesâ Court for an offence of racially aggravated fear or provocation of violence.
Lincolnshire Police said that this is in relation to an incident in which he was alleged to racially verbally abuse a taxi driver in New Road, Spalding, on August 17.

Ricky Surman, 36, of no fixed abode. At Skegness, on September 4, committed assault. Community order made. Programme Requirement. Rehabilitation Activity Requirement up to 20 days. Unpaid Work Requirement: 50 hours. £150 compensation to pay. £90 victim surcharge. At Skegness, on the same date, committed assault. Community order made, as above.
Aaron Dolan, 32, of no fixed abode. At Skegness, on July 14, assaulted a police constable, acting in the exercise of their functions as an emergency worker. Committed to prison for 14 days. £50 compensation to pay.
