The leading hospital in Delhi had directed its nursing staff to communicate only in Hindi and English, following complaint against usage of Malayalam language.
The latest decision was taken after Delhi's Health Minister Satyendra Kumar Jain ordered the Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (GIPMER) to immediately withdraw the circular.
New Delhi [India], June 6 (ANI): A circular barring nursing staff at Delhi government-run Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (GIPMER) not to converse in Malayalam but only use Hindi and English has been withdrawn, the hospital said on Sunday.
