Izaddeen among four named as directors of Boustead Plantations

KUALA LUMPUR (March 11): Boustead Holdings Bhd deputy group managing director Izaddeen Daud is among four new appointments to the board of subsidiary Boustead Plantations Bhd. Izaddeen, as well as Boustead Holdings group finance director Fahmy Ismail and the group’s chief reinvention and strategy officer Ahmad Shahredzuan Mohd Shariff, have been named as non-independent non-executive directors of the plantation company. Meanwhile, Datuk Mustaffar Kamal Abdul Hamid has been appointed as an independent non-executive director, Boustead Plantations said in a statement.  The group said Izaddeen, 52, also sits on the board of Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd, Pharmaniaga Bhd, Boustead Properties Bhd, UAC Bhd and Olympia Industries Bhd. 

eCurve shopping mall to undergo redevelopment

KUALA LUMPUR (March 2): After 14 eventful years, the eCurve shopping mall in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, will undergo redevelopment to evolve, rejuvenate and return stronger. Boustead Properties Bhd (BPB), which operates the mall through subsidiary Damansara Entertainment Centre Sdn Bhd, said the redevelopment is aligned with the group-wide’s aspiration of ‘Reinventing Boustead’.  In a statement, the company said the move is timely and will see eCurve adapting to how societies, lifestyles and technologies are changing.  “Through the urban rejuvenation, we envision an enhanced generational livability surrounding Mutiara Damansara, with a thriving communities and ecosystem stemming from the unleashed offerings under the redevelopment,” said BPB, which is the master developer of the Mutiara Damansara township.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 The eCurve shopping mall in Petaling Jaya has notified tenants that it will be closing permanently effective March 31, 2021. Tenants were served a notice regarding the mall’s closure sometime in the middle of this month. According to a laundrette owner, Rebecca Chong, most of the tenants have started packing in preparation to shift out a week or two before the mall shuts its doors to the public.
