Printing Process: Digital printing Like any industry, the dairy sector is riddled with scandals. Most common among them being the abuse of the dairy cows themselves that face being imprisoned in cramped pens to being forcefully separated from their calves. Chobani, a yoghurt brand that is based in America, is aware of the problems the dairy industry has faced. Even though the brand does produce both dairy and non-dairy products, the brand searched for ways to support the economy, environment and social impacts of its most crucial ingredient: fresh milk from local farms.

Packaging Substrate / Materials: Glass bottle, Aluminum, Cardboard The objective of this project was to create a brand and packaging identity for the fictional brewing company, Oasis Brewing Co. The brand experience translates into an aesthetic driven by visual storytelling: discovering/enjoying something refreshing in the harsh environment of the desert. Oasis Brew Co. is based in Las Vegas, NV, the heart of the Mojave Desert. The company was founded on the idea of creating refreshing, quality craft beer that compliment and juxtapose the dry, humid, yet beautiful environment of the Mojave Desert. The brewery features a variety of desert-themed beers including flavors infused with native ingredients from the Mojave Desert; prickly pear cactus, plum, date, etc.
Printing Process: Roto-Gravure Printing Shivtara’s legacy goes all the way back to 1920 when the Sahuwala family started making Chakki Atta (whole wheat flour) in traditional stone grinders. While the brand had its origins in Rajasthan, the family later took its operations to the Deccan city of Hyderabad, home to the Deccan miniature style of painting – which is what inspired the visuals on the packaging. We built on this traditional art form to tell the story of how fresh wheat is bought from the farms to the table – incorporating food shots that looked delicious but at the same time, carried a sense of homeliness.
