RAMALLAH, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday that Israel has recently confiscated lands for settlement construction in the West Bank.
The lands, located in the West Bank districts of Qalqilya and Salfit, were confiscated for expanding settlements and constructing new units, the ministry said in a statement.
The statement condemned the recent intensive Israeli expansion campaign, which includes bulldozing lands, uprooting trees, and demolishing homes and constructions. The settlement plans would undermine the opportunity for achieving peace, the statement said. Enditem

The Palestinian Prime Minister accuses Israel of racist policies due to the vaccination campaign it is conducting among the settler population in Judea and Samaria, while allegedly discriminating against the Palestinians.
“We condemn the racism of the occupation which prides itself on the rapid vaccination operation for its citizens while ignoring the legal responsibility to provide vaccination to the occupied people,” said Mohammad Shtayyeh at a cabinet meeting last Monday, adding that Israel’s duty to vaccinate PA residents stems from international humanitarian law, the Geneva Convention and the Hague Regulations of 1907, and the International Human Rights Act.

Palestine has called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities to stop Israel s excavations in the complex of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem.
This came in a Monday statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates over the allegations of Israeli excavations in Al-Buraq Wall Western Wall near the Mughrabi Bridge that leads to the Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israel s control since its occupation in 1967.
In the statement, the ministry condemned in the strongest terms those excavations and considered them an extension of the Israeli plans to Judaize the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings.
