Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he fully supports the Israeli occupation s police forces attacks against Palestinian worshippers inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Yesterday morning, Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound – the third holiest site in Islam – and fired stun grenades, rubber-coated steel bullets, and tear gas at Palestinian worshippers.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, over 305 Palestinians were injured in the attack. This was a continuation of days attacks against Palestinian worshippers which peaked on Friday.

On May 10, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) began supporting the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Jerusalem to assess and stabilize hundreds of Palestinians injured by Israeli police.
“We spent a whole day treating Palestinians, including children, with rubber bullet, stun grenade, and blunt trauma injuries. People had also been sprayed with a chemical fluid known as skunk water and had inhaled tear gas. Many patients have received head, chest, or eye injuries from rubber bullets. We have seen many children injured including a 12-year-old with a femur injury and a 14-year-old with an eye injury,” said Dr. Natalie Thurtle, MSF’s Medical Coordinator in the Palestinian Territories.

We
are deeply concerned at the escalation of violence in the
occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem,
and Israel in the past days.
According to the
Palestinian Red Crescent Society, 915 Palestinians were
injured between 7 and 10 May in East Jerusalem, and over 200
in the West Bank, most by Israeli security forces.
Reportedly one Palestinian with Israeli citizenship has been
killed in Israel. As of 10 May approximately 20 Israelis,
the majority of whom were members of security forces, had
reportedly been injured as well. We condemn all violence and
all incitement to violence and ethnic division and
provocations.

The Palestinian health ministry said Monday that Israeli air strikes in Gaza killed nine people including three children an attack that came the same day Israeli forces raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque and injured hundreds of Palestinians.
“Israeli air strikes killing civilians in Gaza is an act of terrorism. Palestinians deserve protection,” tweeted Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).
“Unlike Israel, missile defense programs, such as Iron Dome, don’t exist to protect Palestinian civilians,” she added. “It’s unconscionable to not condemn these attacks on the week of Eid.”

Hamas militants fired rockets toward Jerusalem Monday, setting off air raid sirens in the city, after hundreds of Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli police outside the al-Aqsa mosque compound.
The Islamic militant group fired the rockets minutes after a 6 p.m. deadline had passed. The group had given Israel an ultimatum to pull its security forces from the mosque as well as from another Jerusalem flashpoint.
Shortly before midnight, the Israeli army said 150 rockets had been fired into Israel, with six of them targeting Jerusalem. It said dozens of the rockets were intercepted by its missile defense systems. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
