Facebook censored Palestinians in Gaza from sharing our story with the world – Mondoweiss

Graphic from the “Facebook, we need to talk” campaign (Image: Jewish Voice for Peace) Recently, a group of Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) activists in Gaza, namely the Gaza Voice team, commemorated Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) which is an annual event that was first launched in Canada in 2005 and is held by more than 250 cities across the globe every year to spread awareness regarding Israel’s Apartheid regime and to internationally mobilize grassroots support. Usually, IAW activities include intellectual gatherings, Palestinian popular artistic and musical events, inviting speakers whether locally or globally, watching and discussing documentary films, and networking with various Palestinian solidarity campaigns and pro-Palestinian movements. This year, all activities in Gaza, as well as in other parts around the world, have been held online due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Soros, cultural Marxism and QAnon: How the GOP is energizing and entrenching antisemitism in America - U S News

Follow Feb. 24, 2021 The catastrophe of January 6th’s attempted coup helped focus attention on one particularly controversial incoming congresswoman: Marjorie Taylor Greene. Whereas figures like Ted Cruz acted as nominal figureheads for the insurgent Tea Party influx in 2012, Greene has become in 2021 the firebrand of a new, post-Trump presidency Republican populism.  And it is no coincidence that so much of her conspiratorial mindset, and the protective embrace she’s won from the GOP, is based on antisemitism. Greene’s politics are more an impulsive hodgepodge of reactionary hearsay than a fundamental ideological position, spanning a Seth Rich smear (alleging the former DNC staffer was killed by the MS-13 gang on Obama’s orders) and the equally baseless suggestion that the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas was a ‘false flag’ operation.
