Two Palestinian brothers, held as political prisoners in Israeli prisons, are on their tenth day of hunger strike, reported the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS).

Bassam and Bilal Diab, from Kafr Ra i in the northern West Bank, took the action after Israeli occupation forces placed them under administrative detention.
Two teens among 18 Palestinians detained from West Bank
RAMALLAH, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday overnight detained 18 Palestinians, including two teens, from various parts of the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and security sources.
They confirmed that Israeli forces rounded up a father and his two children, aged 15 and 16, after ransacking their house in Burqin town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
The 16-year-old child is still recovering from Israeli military gunshot wounds he sustained several months ago.
They also detained two other Palestinians after storming their families’ houses in Qabatiya town, south of Jenin.
Prisoner Society: 38 new coronavirus cases confirmed among Palestinian prisoners in Israel

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said today that 38 new coronavirus cases were confirmed among Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli Rimon prison, which raises the number of cases in that prison to 111 since the first case was confirmed on January 11.
It blamed in a statement the Israel Prisons Service (IPS) of neglecting the pandemic situation in the prison, which was the reason for the high number of cases.
It also warned that this prison, where 650 Palestinians are incarcerated, houses some 40 prisoners which chronic diseases and elderly who are serving life sentences.

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 (WAFA) – There were more than 440 Palestinians placed in administrative detention in Israel without charge or trial by the end of 2020, among them three minors and three women, today said the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
It said 131 administrative detention orders were issued against Palestinians in December, the highest in one month, including 80 new orders while the rest were a renewal of existing ones.
PPS said that the Israeli occupation authorities have so far this month issued 90 administrative detention orders, most of them were a renewal of existing orders.
