Cairo: Oman today welcomed Morocco’s decision to normalise relations with Israel through a US-brokered agreement, and the kingdom’s renewed commitment to a two-state solution to the Palestinian problem.
“The Sultanate of Oman welcomes what the King Mohammed VI of sisterly Morocco announced in his phone contacts with US President Donald Trump and the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas,” the Omani Foreign Ministry said.
“We hope this will boost efforts for achieving comprehensive, fair and lasting peace in the Middle East,” it added.
