It is barely 24 hours to the highly-anticipated Nigerian general elections that has been described as a keenly contested battle between two giants yet a winner won’t emerge until after the last vote has been counted.
In another 48 hours, a winner is expected to be declared by the Prof. Attahiru Jega led Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The tension leading up to the big day has come with a lot of drama and uncertainty from different corners.
Blessed with the gift of foresight, top Nigerian seers have gone ahead to predict the eventual winners.
Expressng rounds up predictions by some of Nigeria’s leading clergymen including Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Prophet T.B Joshua and Primate Peter Ayodele among others.
Founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, Prophet T.B. Joshua and Director of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), Prof. Ishaq Akintola, have joined other well-meaning Nigerians to commiserate with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye and members of the church over the sudden death of Pastor Dare Adeboye, who died last Tuesday at the age of 42.
In his condolence message, Prophet Joshua said: “God does not need our permission; God’s time is the best.” In a live service broadcast on Emmanuel Television last Friday, the televangelist, in his prayer, stated, “It is not how long we live that matters but how well we live.” He also added: “Pray that the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, will strengthen the family and the ministry. Let us observe a moment of silence in remembrance of Pastor Dare Adeboye.”
