The man was taken to Montefiore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect has not yet been identified.

The child s father, 43-year-old Rajon Grant, was arrested later Monday night and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
The unlicensed gun, which appears to be a .9mm., was stored in a safe in the closet, but it is unclear if the closet or safe was unlocked. There was only one live round in the gun when the boy found it.
NORWOOD, Bronx (WABC) A teenager has been arrested in the murder of a 16-year-old who was returning to his Bronx apartment, simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, according to police.
Kahlik Grier was fatally shot just before midnight Tuesday after he encountered the alleged gunman who had opened fire at a party a few floors above in the building on Webster Avenue in the Norwood section.
Authorities say 19-year-old Desire Louree was fleeing the building when he ran into Grier, shooting him once in the neck.
Louree is now charged with murder.

When the gunman was fleeing the building, police say he encountered 16-year-old Kahlik Grier in the stairwell between the eighth and ninth floors of the building.
Grier was shot in the neck and rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where he later died. It s sad, it s just sad, one neighbor said. He s 16 years old, coming home, he gets shot for no reason. It s sad.
According to police, Grier lived in the building and was on his way home at the time.
