Christopher Raiche, 29, was arrested Oct. 18, 2019, after the State Police Computer Unit and Homeland Security, acting on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, searched his home at 57 Hilltop Drive in Skowhegan. At the time of his arrest, Raiche was charged with a single count of possessing sexually explicit material.

Online racket targeted several minors living in the U.S.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a resident of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, for allegedly running an online child sexual abuse racket that targeted several minors living in the United States.
The accused, it is said, uploaded pornographic videos and images over the darkweb for financial gains.
Niyaz Ahmed Mir has been booked under the Information Technology Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

UPDATE: Anthony Michael Mileo, age 54, of Huntingtown, Maryland, pleaded guilty today to the federal charge of possession of child pornography. At the time of his indictment in January 2020, Mileo was a Corporal with the Maryland National Capital Park Police Department and was a K9 handler.
The guilty plea was announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Robert K. Hur; Special Agent in Charge John Eisert of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Baltimore; Colonel Woodrow W. Jones III, Superintendent of the Maryland State Police; and Calvert County State’s Attorney Robert Harvey.
According to his plea agreement, on August 7, 2019, the Maryland State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit received a referral from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding the possession of child sexual abuse material. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says a former University of Georgia professor who admitted to authorities that he possessed hundreds of images of child pornography entered a guilty plea in federal court for his crime.
Acting U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia said James Edward Monogan, III, 39, of Athens, pleaded guilty to one count possession of child pornography before U.S. District Judge C. Ashley Royal. Monogan faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison to be followed by a maximum lifetime of supervised release and a $250,000 fine. Monogan will also have to register as a sex offender. A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled. There is no parole in the federal system.

UTICA, N.Y. – A Utica man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for sexually exploiting a child and distributing child pornography.
Aaron Bohannon, 53, admitted to recording his sexual abuse against a child victim from at least 2018 through June of 2019, and sending the explicit videos to others. He also distributed sexually explicit photos and videos of other minors.
