Pushbike recalled over fears front wheel could be dislodged
A popular pushbike is being recalled over fears the front wheel could be dislodged from the bike if it is not correctly installed.
The Pedal Pacer 2 from retailer 99 Bikes is being recalled after some products failed front hub retention requirements needed under consumer laws for bicycles. The front wheel may dislodge from the front fork if the Quick Release Skewer is not properly tightened and secured, the recall, posted on Product Safety, reads.

Mercedes Benz have issued an urgent recall for 719 vehicles amid fears they could catch fire or short circuit over a steering control unit defect.
Product Safety Australia announced the recall on Thursday for Mercedes-Benz C, GLC and EQC vehicles with the Model Year 2020 that were sold nationwide from February 3 to July 31 last year.
The cars may contain a damaged wiring harness in the steering control unit that could cause a short circuit which may lead to a fire, Mercedes warned.
