Two Southern California Providence Hospitals Earn National Safety Awards
Providence Holy Cross Medical Center and Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Southern California earned honors Tuesday with Healthgrades 2021 Patient Safety Excellence Awards.
The two Southern California Providence Hospitals were named among the top 10 and top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient safety respectively on Tuesday in the Healthgrades 2021 Patient Safety Excellence Awards.
“Ensuring patient safety is our sacred responsibility and we strive each day to improve upon protecting everyone in our care,” said Kevin Manemann, chief executive of Providence Southern California. “Congratulations to these two hospitals for raising the bar on safety and establishing practices that ensured safe care over the past year as the pandemic tested us all beyond what we could have imagined.”
