Sahni is the medical director for Clackamas County, Washington County and Lake Oswego emergency medical systems. Last Friday, Dec. 18, he received the COVID-19 vaccine at Providence Portland Medical Center where he serves as a physician in the emergency department. Sahni caught up with Pamplin Media Group on Monday, Dec. 21 to talk about the process, explain some of the mechanism by which it was developed and answer a few questions about vaccine safety.
