HOWLAND A Champion man on Wednesday pleaded guilty to criminal charges linked to driving his 2006 Honda Civic into a Howland home the night of Sept. 23, 2020, crushing a man and his dog to their deaths in the basement. Damien L. Fish, 24, of 5265 N. Park Ave. Extension, appeared with his attorney David Rouzzo before Trumbull Common Pleas Judge W. Wyatt McKay, who will sentence Fish after a background investigation.

Pa man admits guilt in robberies | News, Sports, Jobs

news@tribtoday.com WARREN A Sharon, Pa., man on Thursday pleaded guilty for his part in two store robberies almost six years ago in Brookfield. Phillip J. Root, 41, admitted to two counts of aggravated robbery and will be sentenced by Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Ronald J. Rice after a background investigation conducted by the adult probation department. Rice said Root could face up to 16-and-a-half years in prison, but defense attorney David L. Engler told the judge he plans to file a sentencing memorandum asking for sentencing concurrent to the 20 years in prison Root currently is serving in the Pennsylvania prison system.
