Zaine Alan Pringle, 28, is suing the Metro South Hospital and Health Service for negligence and $592,801 in damages over the botched surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital he claims left him with unnecessary scarring and pain. He had to have three additional surgeries to repair the damage, and claims he lost modelling work as he was only able to model hats and sunglasses because of his scarred arm. Mr Pringle injured his left ring finger while playing football in 2017, his claim to the District Court states.
