A man has been badly injured after he was hit by a car in an Ipswich neighbourhood.
On Friday evening at 6.16pm, a man in his 30s was struck by a BMW on Brisbane Rd, Ebbw Vale, suffering a serious head injury.
Ambulance crews including officers from High Acuity Response assessed the patient at the scene.
The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 6.15pm on Friday after a man was hit by a car on Brisbane Rd in Ebbw Vale. The man was left in a critical but stable condition and was transported with several staff on-board to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

Subscriber only The Goomeri community has rallied around local farmer Don Louis after he was critically injured in a cow attack on his property on Tuesday morning. Mr Louis, aged in his 60s, was working with cattle on his farm when he was attacked by a heifer on Tuesday and had to be airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical but stable condition. Paramedics initially treated the man for critical upper body injuries, before the Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter arrived. Princess Alexandra Hospital confirmed on Wednesday morning that he remains in Intensive Care in a critical but stable condition.
