Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting one new case of COVID-19 infection in Belleville after two days without new cases.
That case was due to travel outside the region, the health unit noted.
TORONTO Schools in just seven public health units in southern Ontario will reopen to in-person learning on Monday while the rest will continue teaching students online, the province announced Wednesday.
Ontario reported another 2,655 cases of COVID-19 and 89 more deaths of people with the illness on Wednesday, as the government said it is expanding its workplace enforcement effort to include farming operations and essential businesses in the service sector.
