Urgent surgeries at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside will have to be diverted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown for the second time this month.
The hemodialysis clinic at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be closed "for the next several days" after bacterial cultures were found in the water system.

Two young people were arrested in the Charlottetown area in the early hours of Tuesday morning following a reported violent robbery in Summerside.
Summerside police say they were alerted shortly after midnight by hospital staff when the victim a man in his 20s turned up at Prince County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The victim walked from Rotary Friendship Park to the nearby PCH himself, according to Sgt. Jason Blacquiere, Summerside Police Services. The victim reported to us that he had gone voluntarily [to the park] with the two suspects. They re all known to each other. And once in the park, the two suspects assaulted him, he said.
