A total of 4414 Fijians have been vaccinated so far in the Western Division after the first day of the COVID-19 mass vaccination drive.
Vaccinations will continue today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi and Tilak High School in Lautoka.
The vaccination drive will begin from 9 am to 6 pm.

Fiji’s Ministry of Health and Medical Services started its rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in the Western Division today.
This is being held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi and Tilak High School in Lautoka and it started at 9am and will end at 6pm.
The ministry has, however, stated that the continuance of this vaccination campaign would depend on the availability of the vaccine doses.
“In this phase of vaccination roll-out, the Ministry of Health strongly encourages persons with disabilities and individuals with co-morbid issues such as diabetes, hypertension, heart conditions, asthma, HIV, cancer, patients undergoing renal dialysis and any other medical condition to come forward and get vaccinated,” the ministry stated.

Hundreds of people turned up at Prince Charles Park in Nadi today to get their first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine as the Ministry of Health rolls out the next phase of their vaccination campaign which is also underway in Lautoka and Suva
The campaign will continue till Friday.
The Ministry of Health has assured people that all COVID-19 safe measures are observed at the vaccination sites.
