A Maryland man who allegedly admitted to shaking his 2-month-old son has been charged with murder, local authorities said Monday.
The Prince George County Police Department’s Homicide Unit announced in a press release that 31-year-old
Rodriquez Holeman was arrested in connection with the death of his infant son,
Rodriquez Holeman Jr.
Police and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the Holeman home on Murray Hill Road in Fort Washington on April 23 after receiving a report for an unresponsive child. Holeman Jr. was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead “a short time” after arriving at the facility.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the fatal shooting of 18-year-old J’Lyn Quinones of Suitland. Quinones and a second female were shot on Tuesday in the unincorporated section of Capitol Heights. The second victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Quinones was pregnant. Her unborn baby was delivered during emergency surgery and is currently in critical, but stable condition.
On April 20, 2021, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers with the Metropolitan Police Department observed Quinones and the second female victim in distress at the intersection of Rail Street and Southern Avenue in Southeast DC. The officers discovered they were both suffering from gunshot wounds.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal assault that occurred this month in Langley Park.
Takoma Park Teen Found Dead in Langley Park
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal assault that occurred earlier this month in Langley Park. The victim is 15-year-old Nelson Ramos of Takoma Park.
He was a 10th grader at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring.
On April 7 at approximately 3:15 a.m., officers responded to the area of the Ruatan Northwest Branch Trail. There they discovered an unresponsive male who was suffering from trauma. He was found in the wooded area off the walking trail and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ruatan Northwest Branch Trail falls within the jurisdiction of Maryland-National Capital Park Police. The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides that occur within the jurisdiction of Maryland-National Capital Park Police.
