PRINCETON More than two dozen kids will be wearing brightly colored T-shirts in the Princeton area.
Their creativity was not deterred by the 90-plus degree temperature as the youngsters, and accompanying adults, participated in the Princeton Public Library’s Tie Dye program June 29.
With Judy Dino of the Princeton Arts Society leading the instruction and detailing the process and creative options each created a unique, wearable work of art.
Dino explained the benefits of cotton versus other fabrics in terms of how it adsorbs the dyes, and using gloves so the process does not dry out their hands after first dipping the T-shirts in soda ash.
