Dave Grohl has some pretty exciting news to share he s written a book.
On Tuesday (April 6), Grohl announced Dave Grohl: The Storyteller will be hitting store shelves in the very near future. The book comes on the heels of Grohl s Instagram account Dave s True Stories, which he launched last year. The book will build on the platform with even more “tales of life and music” for fans of the musician.
“So, I’ve written a book,” Grohl shared with his fans. “Having entertained the idea for years, and even offered a few questionable opportunities (‘It’s a piece of cake! Just do four hours of interviews, find someone else to write it, put your face on the cover, and voila!’), I have decided to write these stories just as I have always done, in my own hand.

The Foo Fighters frontman will share a collection of memories of a life lived loud in the book â which follows the launch of his Dave s True Stories Instagram account last year â set for release on October 5 9 April 2021

Just do four hours of interviews, find someone else to write it, put your face on the cover, and voila! ), I have decided to write these stories just as I have always done, in my own hand.
Join the Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars for an entertaining evening of New Orleans traditional jazz. The band has been in existence since 2009, currently sponsored by Denver Percussion and the Denver Jazz Club. The All-Stars perform during breaks of the professional bands at each Denver Jazz Club monthly session. The band has been featured with many professional bands including the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Queen City Jazz Band.
The Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars have performed at the Evergreen Jazz Festival, the Denver Vintage Jazz Festival, the Sacramento Jazz Festival, the Sacramento Hot Jazz Jubilee, the Montreux, Switzerland Jazz Festival, the Assisi, Italy Music Festival, the Umbria, Italy Jazz Festival, the Expo in Citta Festival (Milan, Italy), and the Kongsberg, Norway Jazz Festival. WWOZ releases 2021 Jazz Festing in Place schedule
WWOZ has released the schedule for the 2021 Jazz Festing in Place radio schedule from Thursday, April 22. through Sunday, May 1, the dates of what would have been set aside for live broadcasts from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, which has been rescheduled for October. Colloquially known as “the cubes” a reference to the grid of performances printed in guidebooks the lineup will include sets from the very first Jazz Fest in 1970, including The Meters, Pete Fountain, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Clifton Chenier, and Duke Ellington. Other highlights will include a set from Danny and Blue Lu Barker in 1989, the Neville Brothers in 2003, Ella Fitzgerald with Stevie Wonder in 1977, Greg Bartholomew with Fats Domino in 1999, and the Allman Brothers in 2010.
