According to the report, the actress had stepped out to shoot despite testing positive for Covid-19. While tweeting the copy of the FIR, the BMC said, No Compromise On City s Safety! BMC has filed an FIR against a Bollywood actor for non-compliance to COVID19 guidelines on testing positive. The rules apply to all alike and we urge citizens to follow all guidelines and help the city beat the virus.

Representative Image The BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) on Tuesday registered an FIR with the police against a family in Mumbai who made a fake Covid-19 negative report whereas the test results with the laboratory had proved otherwise. The report consisted of test results of a family including- father (53), mother (51) and their daughter (15). All three had tested positive as per lab reports. According to the complaint, the family not just altered the report but even travelled from their house in suburban area of Khar to the airport in Vile Parle with an intention to visit Jaipur. Speaking to India Today TV, BMC Additional Municipal Commissioner Suresh Kakani said, “First of all, this act has not only risked the lives of the family but also the other members of society. Citizens are expected to behave responsible and abide by Covid-19 rules in these times.”
