21:51 PM IST: The Goa government has announced to provide Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia relief to kin of Covid-19 victims. The eligibility criteria of the scheme is that the income of the family should not exceed Rs 8 lakh per annum, the minimum residence should be 15 years in Goa, and all Covid-related deaths in the family subject to one claim per family.
20:55 PM IST: Tamil Nadu government has extended lockdown in the state by another week till July 12 while giving relaxtions. Earlier, there were different categories of relaxation as per the caseload for different districts.

Mumbai: COVID-19 Vaccination To Take Place Only For 3 Hours Today Owing To Jab Shortage
COVID-19 vaccination in Mumbai will only take place for three hours on Friday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation announced amid a shortage of doses. This comes after Thursday witnessed no vaccination at BMC centers whereas 4 state government-run inoculation centers were operational due to limited vaccine stock. As per the civic body, people can get themselves vaccinated between 2 pm and 5 pm.
