The decision has been taken following the 5-step unlock which is currently in process in the Maharashtra capital city. The number of passengers will not be more than the total number of seats in any bus and wearing of face mask will be mandatory for every passenger, said the BEST. Restaurants, shops selling non-essential items, and public places are set to reopen from Monday in Mumbai but malls, theatres, and multiplexes will continue to remain shut.

One killed, 5 injured in Mumbai s Bandra building collapse ANI | Updated: Jun 07, 2021 07:57 IST Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 7 (ANI): One person died and five were injured when a part of a building collapsed in the Bandra area of Mumbai in the early hours of Monday. The incident occurred around 1.45 am on Monday when a part of Rajjak Chawl on Kherwadi Road of Bandra East collapsed. According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), 17 persons were rescued and the injured were sent to the nearest Bhabha Hospital and V N Desai Hospital. Mumbai Fire Brigade and police officials rushed to the spot after the incident was reported.
