MUMBAI: Considering the warning about cyclone Tauktae, the civic body has cancelled the vaccination drive for Monday across all public centres. The BMC’s three-day walk-in only drive will now commence on Tuesday and continue till Thursday. BMC chief IS Chahal said on Sunday that in view of the warning of high intensity cyclone issued by the meteorological department, the vaccination program scheduled for May 17 stands cancelled. The walk-in only vaccination will happen from May 18-20. Importantly, citizens above the age of 60 years can walk-in and get the first dose of Covishield during these three days. People who are differently-abled can also walk-in.
