Providing care and empathy for students facing trauma is something that can occur behind the scenes, without an abundance of details being known. That’s the thinking behind Kitsap Strong’s “Handle With Care” program, which is debuting this winter and features partnerships between the Bremerton and Central Kitsap school districts, Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, Bremerton Police Department, Bremerton Fire Department, and Central Kitsap and South Kitsap Fire and Rescue.
