March 6, 2021 (KHARTOUM) - The visiting Egyptian President announced his agreement with Sudanese officials to reject the fait accompli policy that Ethiopia is trying to impose with regard to the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) process. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Khartoum on Saturday, in his first visit to the neighbouring country since the ouster of President Omer al-Bashir. Egypt s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry during his meeting with UN Special Envoy for Libya Ján Kubiš, CAIRO - 7 March 2020: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry urged all Libyan parties to abide by the permanent ceasefire agreement, especially concerning the withdrawal of all foreign forces and mercenaries from the North African country. Shoukry s remarks came on Sunday during his meeting with UN Special Envoy for Libya Ján Kubiš, where they discussed the most recent developments of the Libyan crisis, according to the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez.
