“Plaintiff is not a hacker and the information obtained from the computer does not [contain] hacked materials because Plaintiff lawfully gained access to the computer, first with the permission of its owner, BIDEN, and then, after BIDEN failed to retrieve the hard drive despite Plaintiff’s requests, in accordance with the Mac Shop’s abandoned property policy,” Mr. Mac Isaac’s lawsuit says. “Plaintiff, as a direct result of Defendant’s actions and statements, is now widely considered a hacker and, on the same day Defendant categorized the Plaintiff as a hacker, Plaintiff began to receive negative reviews of his business as well as threats to his person and property.”
“And who knows….we might dress in all BLACK for the occasion,” Mr. Tarrio posted on the social media service Parler. “The night calls for a BLACK tie event.”
Hundreds of uniformed Proud Boys participated in pro-Trump protests held earlier this month in D.C. on the heels of the Republican president losing his race for reelection to his Democratic challenger.
Those protests culminated in several people being stabbed, as well as notably the destruction of a “Black Lives Matter” sign that was stolen from a historic Black church in D.C. and then set on fire.
Mr. Tarrio, a former Republican congressional candidate, has said he was among several Proud Boys who set fire to a “BLM” banner shortly after it was stolen. He had been at the White House hours earlier.
Former first lady Michelle Obama topped the list of most admired women for the third straight year.
Ten percent named Mrs. Obama. She was followed by Vice President-elect Sen. Kamala D. Harris (6%), first lady Melania Trump (4%) and Oprah Winfrey (3%).
The incumbent U.S. president and a current or former first lady usually top the respective lists.
Since 1946, the incumbent president has topped Gallup’s most admired man list 60 out of 74 times.
Since 1948, a current (18) or former (39) first lady has topped the most admired woman list 57 out of 71 times.
“Should Trump continue to dominate Republicans’ consciousnesses currently, Republicans rarely name any other public person than him he will have a good chance of winning in future years, especially if Democrats continue to split their choices between Obama and Biden,” Gallup’s Jeffrey M. Jones wrote.
The former governor said he erred when he let his guard down and didn’t wear a mask at the White House and in debate prep sessions with President Trump.
Earlier this month, Mr. Christie did not rule out a bid for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination against Mr. Trump. Mr. Christie ran for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016 but dropped out after a disappointing finish in New Hampshire.
Mr. Christie gave effusive praise to former President Barack Obama in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy right before the presidential election in 2012.
He has dismissed the idea that he literally hugged Mr. Obama as an urban legend.
President Trump is citing a dramatically lower rejection rate for mail-in ballots in Georgia in 2020 compared to 2016 and 2018 as evidence of widespread voter fraud, but state officials say fewer ballots were tossed this year because of changes to election laws, not because of cheating.
